The paper highlights how users can enjoy rewards such as tokenized privileges, gamification, collectibles, and community-generated content. This not only improves the user experience but also generates new revenue streams for brands while empowering users to actively participate in loyalty programs.

These loyalty programs also plan to explore the launch of a dynamic marketplace that allows users to buy and sell rewards, adding flexibility and value to loyalty programs and fostering deeper brand engagement. This approach not only unlocks new engagement channels but also resonates with the preferences of Gen Z, who are increasingly seeking more meaningful interactions with brands.

Popular brands like Nike, Flipkart, and Nubank have started to redefine their 95% engagement on quests, to increase rewards redemption by 23%, with its Hang loyalty program on Polygon.

Marc Boiron, CEO of Polygon Labs said: “Our collaboration with Accenture and Google Cloud is a big next step for customer engagement, and by leveraging the Polygon CDK and advanced zero-knowledge proofs, we provide customers better data protection and utility with loyalty rewards.”

A key aspect of this trifecta collaboration is the focus on privacy-preserved data sharing, which supports a "multiplayer commerce" model. This allows customers' loyalty statuses to be shared on a secure data layer, accessible to complementary brands and partners. Such data sharing is integral to companies, but traditional loyalty programs offer no standards for interoperation and pose a significant liability risk in the event of a leak. This model ensures that brands and partners can access the relevant data using zero-knowledge proofs, which use advanced cryptographic methods to verify the existence of information without revealing the information itself. Brands can enhance each other's loyalty programs, stacking value and attracting new customers through collaborative efforts.
